This week has been ....😪

I struggle to find the words and here is why.

I see effervescent Amélie full of energy daily. Than there is what her most recent medical results show. It's no secret Amélie suffered a stroke from the lithium coin battery rupturing her carotid left artery (blood vessel that brings blood to the brain, and head)

This week her Nuerosurgeron went over her results with me and they were not favorable. HOWEVER there is a plan in place. We also saw her amazing Pediatrician this week and Amélie is recovering amazingly well in other areas.

Tuesday and Wednesday were rough for me mentally. Internally I want everything to be rainbows and sunshine. At the same time I know that you cannot know joy without experiencing sorrow. I have to remember that her surviving this incident is the sunshine 🌞

This week I had to remind myself that mental and physical healing takes time. I had to look back at what we've come from. I have the utmost faith that our baby girl will continue to thrive ❤
