This picture warms my heart for so many reasons! We've always been blood donors but never in a million years did we think that one of our children would require blood transfusions. If it wasn't for other blood donors our sweet Amélie would not be here with us today. When she was rushed into the OR on April 9th and hooked up to the Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CBP) Machine, she required over 4.2 LITRES of blood just in OR.
