"Say cheese 📷!" 😅 Clearly Amélie was not vibing with Dr.Driedger and I for this picture but we took the shot anyway! This past week we had another follow-up with her super sweet Pediatrician, Dr.Driedger ❤ She was also the Pediatrician in ER on April 9th who attended to Amélie when we arrived at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. I will always remember how this petite powerhouse came into the room ready to find out what was causing Amélie respiratory issues, and I remember her telling me their was a blockage in her esphogous and she was more than certain it was a button battery. It was Dr.Driedger who made the call for our sweet girl to be intubated and prepared for transportation to the Stollery Hospital...I'm eternally grateful for her quick decision making. I took the pictures of Amélie deeply fearful that this might've been the last time I saw my baby girl *WHEW Heavy stuff* but God had other plans for miss Amélie! Sigh ...If it wasn't for Covid-19 I would hug and tell every nurse and doctor who attended to our Amélie 🤗 you all mean so much more to me than you will ever know
